The Town
of the Blue Mountains includes the smaller communities of Thornbury, Craigleith,
Clarksburg, Heathcote, Redwing, Duncan, Little Germany, Ravenna, Victoria
Corners, Loree, Kolapore, Banks, Gibraltar, Castle Glen, Swiss Meadows,
and Camperdown.
The Town
of The Blue Mountains is situated next to Georgian Bay and the Blue Mountains
escarpment stretches across its width.
In summer cruise the
Thornbury, Peasemarsh, and Northwinds beaches, or enjoy a full-service
boat mooring in Thornbury Harbour. Mountain biking and hiking on the Georgian
and Bruce Trails. Golf, slide rides and horseback tours are available
in our resort area.
In the fall, take
in the autumn colour splendour along the Niagara Escarpment and through
Beaver Valley.
 In
winter The Blue Mountains is Ontario's most active resort community, with
five premier ski clubs. Hundreds of kilometres of cross-country ski trails.
